   Ever since the most contempo update a few days agone (Version 1903, OS Build 18362.418) my search bar for 'Cortana' has gone white! Information technology is very irritating and I want it to become back to dark grey. If I change the Windows or App Modes in 'Colors Setting' it makes everything else dark mode besides, like file explorer, etc. Only days agone I had the 'calorie-free' colour style on with a black search bar. What happened? Did anyone else take this problem recently? Meet screenshots beneath:

   

   

   I want the "white" low-cal mode of the left moving-picture show with the night search bar of the correct photo.

2. Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

   Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

   In Windows 10 at that place is no option for changing the colour to white but y'all can change it to dissimilar colors. To change the colour of the job bar I suggest yous to follow the below steps and cheque if it helps.

   • In the search box, type settings.
   • Then select personalization.
   • Click on color option on the left side.
   • Y'all will observe an option called "show colour on first, taskbar and first icon".
   • You lot need to on the option so yous can alter the color appropriately.

   May I be so bold as to mail an alternative which volition alter the search bar from White to default Greyness.

   Settings > Fourth dimension &n Language > Region & language > change State or region to a country not accepted past Cortana, such as Gabon > reboot.
   Cortana search bar is changed to grey colour.
   After reboot, back to Region & Country > change the country back to the original ane.
   Cortana search bar will remain grey in color.
