How To Open A Program In Windows 8.1

Hi Murdoc,

Only to clarify, have you already uninstalled the ISO burner? If it was already uninstalled but the issue still persists, it may be possible that there are yet traces of the program on your device and is making your other apps/programs unable to open. Please visit the developer of the ISO burner y'all've downloaded and look for a fashion to completely remove the app.

Update us if in that location are improvements.

Update

So, I checked my system with an uninstaller plan and checked the registry. Even so I can't find whatever trace of the program.

There might be a slim chance that this problem happened before the installation of the iso burning software. And then general Fixes (Non related to malware) are also appreciated.

Oh yeah, Also the software is called ImgBurn ii.5.8.0 and I got information technology from http://www.imgburn.com/.

Thanks as always

Cheers for the update, Murdoc. We recommend checking the Startup programs in Task Director and see if the cause is a software disharmonize between these apps. Please follow these instructions:

  1. On your desktop, right-click on the Taskbar, and and then choose Task Manager.
  2. On Task Manager, click the Startup tab.
  3. You lot will run into a list of programs that run whenever you starting time Windows. Since y'all've mentioned that the issue doesn't happen when booting in condom fashion, we recommend disabling all of the non-Windows apps and so restart your PC.
  4. Enable the apps one-by-one and and then restart your device every time you lot enable an app.
  5. For every Windows startup, bank check if the programs yous've mentioned that won't run would start to open at this time.
  6. Echo steps iii to 5 to determine if the outcome is indeed caused by software conflicts.

Update usa if there are improvements.

Yaaaaaas... I come with an update...

And then earlier on today, or..er well yesterday (it's 2 am in U.k.), I played effectually with chore manager and the Malwarebytes service displayed in information technology.

this was because it appeared to, fourth dimension-to-time, slow downwardly my pc to the indicate where it used well-nigh to 98% CPU. It was a bit stubborn to close every bit it didn't always respond to me clicking the "Cease PROCESS" pick, and it would re-open anyways. withal somehow, through my desperate muddling with information technology, I got Malwarebytes and firealpaca to open. I then ran a virus scan and it turned out 3 pieces of malware which I quarantined and deleted and and then everything was working fine.

HOWEVER, after I left it turned off for a couple of hours and came back ( i hour ago every bit of me writing this ) they both wouldn't open again and fiddling with the Malwarebytes tasks seemed to not piece of work anymore.

I besides tried turning off all not-windows (or intel) tasks. and the same happened, they wouldn't open.

A curt lived burst of joy, only also one pace closer to diagnosing the trouble I gauge.

as well, I noticed something odd, when I checked the permissions of Malwarebytes I institute this (circled in red) is this normal, cause' at this bespeak, I'm honestly dumbfounded.

kind regards

Thank you for these updates. It seems that your Antivirus software is preventing you from opening your apps. Tin y'all temporarily turn Off your Antivirus software to ostend if information technology is the one causing this issue?

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer confronting viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you take to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it equally soon as you lot're washed. If you're connected to the cyberspace or a network while your antivirus is disabled, your estimator is vulnerable to attacks.

Update united states if there are improvements.

Le-Updato-de-mayo

So I tried to disable the Malwarebytes service using the services menu and restarted my pc. it turned on again so I disabled it and tried information technology without the restart. Still nothing.

I as well tried uninstalling some programs to see if information technology would assist. one, in particular, was google earth pro which just randomly showed upwards around the fourth dimension of me installing the ImgBurn program (i didn't manually install it). However, I can't think if it's the aforementioned day or not.

Any feedback is still appreciated

Disabling the services of your Antivirus plan may not have been plenty. We recommend turning information technology off on the app's interface itself. Much better if yous would get in contact with their support on how to temporarily plough it off.

We'll be waiting for your updates.
